Wentworth Courier: 435 properties for sale in Sydney’s exclusive eastern suburbs
As the spring selling season hots up, the Wentworth Courier has joined forces with Australia’s leading online property site, realestate.com.au, to give you unprecedented insight into what’s for sale in the eastern suburbs.
For the next four weeks, we’ll be including realestate.com.au’s Premiere listings in our print property sections, a combined print and digital experience that will give you instant access to hundreds of homes on the market across the eastern suburbs.
In a bumper 110-page Wentworth Courierreal estate section you’ll be able to view more than 400 listings, stretching from Bondi to Woolloomooloo.
News Corp Australia’s chief operating officer Damian Eales and REA Group’s Chief Marketing Officer, Melina Cruickshank, applauded the initiative.
Mr Eales said combining print with digital was the most effective way to sell a property.
“The ‘purchase funnel’ is a 120-year-old marketing concept that can be applied to any marketing challenge, and that includes selling a house,” he said.
“It’s one thing to showcase properties at the pointy end of that funnel, when customers are actively searching for a property – realestate.com.au is the market leader in that space.
“It’s another thing to prompt passive customers to take a look too.
In the same way that a for sale sign tells passing traffic that your house is for sale, this print extension amplifies that message to the masses, maximising open house attendance, auction participants and price.”
“This new initiative allows vendors to seamlessly target both the passive and active market.”
Meanwhile, Ms Cruickshank said: “Realestate.com.au is always looking to maximise value for our customers.
“By joining forces with News Corp on this spring initiative, Premiere listings will be front and centre in one of the biggest NewsLocal publications in Sydney.
“Combining the power and reach of realestate.com.au with NewsLocal across Sydney ensures our customers’ listings gain more exposure.
“At no additional expense, hundreds of realestate.com.au Premiere properties and projects located in the eastern suburbs will be reverse-published in the Wentworth Courier.
“We want our customers and vendors to get the very best exposure we can provide this spring.
“The current housing market conditions in Sydney are ideal for buyers, but with listings down, it’s also a market of opportunity for sellers.
“With the combined reach of realestate.com.au and Wentworth Courier, vendors know they can sell with confidence to get the very best result.”
The chief economist at Realestate.com.au, Nerida Conisbee, said it’s a fantastic time to be selling property in the east.
“Lots of buyers with very little stock is creating strong competition,” she said.
“This has now been flowing through to strong clearance rates in premium suburbs across Sydney.”
Sydney’s East is one of the most-desirable places to live, from Bondi – complete with a jumble of abodes from plenty of eras, in various states of repair, while new apartment blocks spring up alongside beautiful art deco buildings.
Realestate.com.au data shows the most popular suburbs in the city and east region, based on searches, to be Paddington, closely followed by Redfern; then Bronte, Surry Hills and Rose Bay.
